We care about social justice and giving voice to the voiceless. Our community hall offerings reflect these values. We are open to hearing feedback.

  • We host multiple weekend long retreats at the Krishnamurti Foundation of America. Facilitated by Francesca Gold; check their website for dates.

  • Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. In these clinics, we offer expert, trauma informed care to jump start your home practice. Do you have an injury or chronic pain? Need a lifestyle or mindset change? Have anxiety + need some new ideas to help? Bring your questions and leave with a home practice designed for you.

  • Deepen your current practice and understanding of yoga from a self-inquiry and therapeutic lens.

    Breathe Ojai’s Teacher Trainings are designed specifically for people who want to approach yoga teaching from a therapeutic perspective.

    If your intention is to help relieve the suffering of others, regardless of age, gender, condition, health history, or physical and mental ability, then taking a 200-hour yoga certification created and led by a Yoga Therapist is an important piece of your yoga teaching journey. You’ll learn the foundational aspects of poses, subtle body, anatomy, breathwork, and the history of yoga. We will also peel back the layers of modern yoga and dig deep into the constructs that Yoga Therapists use every day: therapeutic movement, doshas (Ayurveda), yogic philosophy, meditation, and much more.

  • Anyone in recovery of any kind is welcome in these meetings and retreats. Expect gentle, therapeutic Yoga, meditation, pranayama, Yoga Nidra, journaling, self-inquiry, optional sharing, and/or time for reflection.

    Our Monday 7pm group is on a break after nearly two years of weekly meetings. Reach out if you’d like to host anything recovery related!

  • These workshops combine yoga therapy and psychotherapy for a holistic approach to stress disorders. Designed to educate and lift your spirits, this group offers a holistic approach to identify triggers, manage symptoms, and learn practical tools so that you can obtain the knowledge you need to heal and navigate life.

    We help you identify triggers and practical tools for managing symptoms both for prevention and de-escalation. You will identify mental and physical practices that fit your unique needs and style.

  • Read, reflect on, and discuss thoughtful Yoga and spiritual books.

    The most recent one we did was on Accessibility in Yoga and our students have gone on to host book clubs on racial equity within the yoga studio.

  • The goals of this program are to educate participants on what codependency is as well as enhance self-regulation skills and self-knowledge. Learn how to activate the prefrontal cortex and improve executive function. By the end of the program, participants will be able to identify codependent traits and apply introspective and self-regulatory tools with the aim of decreasing depression, improving self-esteem, increasing the ability to express feelings, and other measurable outcomes as outlined in validated codependency tests.

  • Kirtan is a sacred and ancient practice of devotion. These occur seasonally and are led by beloved community members. Connect with us via the newsletter or Instagram to be updated.
