As a sample, we will cover, learn about, and practice where applicable, a portion of the following:

  • The adaptive role of stress,

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT techniques)/self talk,

  • using the 5 senses of calming as anxiety relief strategies,

  • body scan/mindfulness/relaxation techniques,

  • window of tolerance,

  • ways to express and release anxiety,

  • learning to listen to and trust your body.
